Really need a lift,dont ask. Not sure what the hell is going on,but Im trying to get out of this funk.Been trying different things as,songs and vids to get me out of this for the last week or so. Use to love this time of year,but just not the same.

Here is one that will bring it back for you. I will be doing this next week an will make sure to have one for ya,maybe 2 :D !!!!

In a few short hours I will be bringing my little one for her first Newfie Christmas. She is gonna have a blast. I look at it this way, I get to spend a ton of well deserved time with family and friends I have not otherwise been able to over the year. My Christmas will be blessed as I will be able to spend it with my family in my childhood home. Been wanting to do this since she was born. Now she can get to experience it and enjoy it. Look at it this way Brian, if ya need to feel better, take some of that stuff and go lookin at that tree root again, you might see Santa. :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

Dude you need a healthy dose of Chevy Chase and the Christmas Vacation...Awesome movie. Randy quaid is at his best EVER in that movie.Watch it, you will quickly have the Xmas Spirit...All the best to you and yours!!

Your right Mr B. Things aren't the same from Christmases past. We don't live in Mom and Dad'e house, the guests have changed, kids grown up.

The flavour and tone of the season has changed. No more coming and going with a glass of cheer at each stop. There would be 40-50 people stopping at our home to avail themselves of some old fashioned hospitality and friendship on Christmas eve.

There are no more carolers and "Sally Ann" bands on the street corners. Then there is all this politically correct bumpf.

Long and short, regardless of the trivial and commercial nonsense, no matter what the year has dealt us, what matters most is how you keep Christmas in your heart.

 

Gotta run. Still got a full day's Christmas baking to finish.

FINALY I have it,the spirt of christmas.

 

Funny how it came about.

 

Stop at the store @5am on the way to work and theres this song play,n.I was one I havent heard in a long long time. It that wierd toy song.

Then while at work,the radio was playing and it was nothing but christmas songs as well.Ok starting to sing abit. Then It was off to the beer store with my empties.As Im walking in,theres this ragged old fella with bags of cans and bottles. Obviously from the street. I was more then happy to give him my empties,and he said ty,merry christmas. That there was the icing on the cake. Bruce yer right,it,s in yer heart. So grabbed my beer,rushed of to the store and lucky me,I got the last tub of newfie salt beef. :clapping: Grabbed the rest of the fixen for it and off to home.

 

Here I sit with a cold one with a feeling I have not had in sometime.
